This is our 3rd stay here. Park was not as well kept as previous trips. Restrooms were not clean. The playing field needed to be mowed. Cable TV was not working. However, it is a very scenic campground on Lake Hartwell and one of the best in the area to stay.
Wonderful park. Great bike trails, fishing, crabbing, dog off leash park, kayaks, paddle boats, climbing wall. Close to historic Charleston. Beach 10 minutes away. One of the best parks we've stayed in.
State Park near Harwell, GA. Have only 5 full hookup sites which were formally mobile home sites. These 5 are not very well laid out. We actually had to park on the cul de sac in order to access the hookups. Otherwise, the park is nice and scenic. Lake Harwell is very low because of drought conditions. We camped here in travel trailer.
Scenic park directly on Strom Thurmond Lake. Lots of sites on the water. Spacious and clean gravel sites. Some turns around the campground a little tight for big rigs. Has playgrounds, mini golf, and hiking trails. Approximately 30 miles to Augusta, GA. As usual, the Georgia State Parks are nice to camp in.
Clean and nice. All amenities well kept. Pool/arcade/paved roads great for the kids. Waterfront sites beautiful with marina right on site. Will stay here again.
Like all COE campgrounds on Hartwell, sites are spacious and mostly level. Most are directly on waterfront. Few amenities, just the great outdoors at its finest!
Scenic park just off I-85 at the GA/SC state line. Large lots with many waterfront options. Mini golf was closed this time of year. Quiet and clean with gravel on lots. Lots of bike trails. Showers needed cleaning. Overall, fun place to stay.
Very clean and quiet. Sites are moderately sized. Towing vehicles a little tight in some of the alleys. Staff very friendly. Has nice playground for kids, pond for fishing and paddleboats.
Clean and cozy. Trailer sites paved and level. Lots of tent campers. Park has swimming lake, paddle boats, hiking trails. Close to downtown Greenville.
